Using a variety of styles and media, I paint undulating land and colourful clouds and sky. These landscapes often include standing stones or trees. Colour is always important.
The Ness of Brodgar
After being a volunteer at this excavation for over ten years, I am now one of their artists in residence. I put color and life onto the Neolithic archaeology being revealed.

NEW 2024 Calendar again WATERCOLOURS, yes I have to change the photo….!!
Since 2020, walking around the Ring of Brodgar is a favourite walk. BUT, I have my camera ready for clouds and landscapes under changing sunlight
My 2024 calendar alternates an expressive landscape watercolour with Orkney standing stones.
It is a table top calendar, larger than last year’s. It is 20 x 20 cm square
